Writing has always been my passion. My work has appeared in several publications including magazines, newspapers and in the e-zine Outdoor Adventure Canada. I also edit the outdoors magazine and am responsible for writing the coursework for a wilderness cooking series.

Much of my written work has been for the corporate sector. I have written copy for brochures, press releases, websites, marketing campaigns and annual reports.

In 2004 a selection of my wilderness recipes appeared in Lipsmackin' Vegetarian Backpackin' by Tim and Christine Conners. With encouragement from the Conners and a great deal of motivation I pursued writing my own wilderness cookbook and I signed on with Wilderness Press in early 2006. The book, A Fork in the Trail, was released in January 2008.

For the past several years I have been working on a series of children's books.
