Writing has always been my passion. My work has appeared in several publications including magazines, newspapers, Seattle Backpackers Magazine, West Jet's Up!, Washington Trails Magazine, Backpacker, and in the e-zine Outdoor Adventure Canada where I am the designer and editor. I teach workshops on wilderness cooking and family camping.

Much of my written and editing work has been for the corporate sector. I have written and edited copy for brochures, press releases, websites, marketing campaigns and annual reports.

My first book, A Fork in the Trail, was released in January 2008 by Wilderness Press and TouchWood Editions. A second cookbook, aptly named Another Fork in the Trail, was released in May 2011. More information can be obtained on the website for the publications.

For the past several years I have been working on a series of children's books that I hope to have published in 2013.
